Actually really liking this low-poly and pixel art model style I'm developing. This time Raziel, a playable character from a wildly under-appreciated game series.
Modelling raziel was a much different experience than Samus, as her power suit's design allows it to be broken up into pieces much easier. Most of Raziel's body, however, is one mesh, so a lot more time was spent on getting smoother topology. Textures on this one was fun, I tried experimenting with transparency on the Soul Reaver blade, but couldn't quite get it to work. I initially wanted to blade to be done with particles, but that's unfortunately not supported by Marmoset.
